How it works / from inquiry to shipment

Six steps. One shared plan.

Every handover should have a clear input, an agreed output and someone responsible. Here is how we work through your sourcing list.

01

Brief

Tell us what you want to buy, where you sell and when you need it.

The outputWe turn your references, quantities and target costs into a sourcing brief. You confirm the priorities.

02

The outputYou receive photos, SKU references, case packs and the differences between options. Choose what makes the sample list.

03

Quote

We explain the product costs and the work around them.

The outputYou receive an itemized quote, its price basis and any estimates. Approve the scope and charges before work starts.

04

Sample

We coordinate product samples and packaging proofs.

The outputYou review the actual item, complete pack and artwork version. Your approval becomes the order reference.

05

Check

We coordinate the agreed inspection and resolve the open points.

The outputYou receive findings, packing details and exceptions. Decide whether to release, rework or check again.

06

Ship

We consolidate ready cargo and coordinate the freight handover.

The outputYou receive final carton records, document coordination and handover details for the agreed route.

The timeline starts with your requirements.

Stock availability, samples, artwork, testing and transport all affect the calendar. We agree dates for your project after the scope is clear. A product launch schedule is a planning tool, not a fixed delivery promise.

On a typical wholesale toy order through the Chenghai cluster, the desk allows about 1–3 working days to return a shortlist after a brief, 5–10 days for product samples and packaging proofs to reach you, then 25–35 days for mass production after deposit and signed sample approval, followed by 3–7 days of pre-shipment inspection and booking. Promotional, custom-pack and peak-season orders (Q3 holiday build, the Chinese New Year window) need extra buffer; we put a named date against each stage rather than one optimistic total.

Responsibilities are deliberately split: you own the product choice, artwork, approvals and the final release decision; the desk owns supplier matching, quotes, sample coordination, inspection records and freight handover. Where a task sits between us - artwork dielines, warning labels, FBA shipment details - we say who supplies what before the work begins.

Before you brief us

A few useful answers.

How long does a typical wholesale toy order take?

Allow 1–3 working days for the initial shortlist, 5–10 days for samples and packaging proofs, then 25–35 days for production after deposit and sample approval, plus 3–7 days for inspection and booking. Peak-season orders need extra buffer.

What do you need from me at each step?

At brief: references, quantities, market and target cost. At quote: approval of scope and charges. At sample: the signed approval that becomes the production standard. At check: your release, rework or follow-up decision. Everything else runs on the desk's side.

Can I make changes after production starts?

Artwork, packaging and spec changes after production starts usually carry rework cost and delay. The desk flags the decision gate before the deposit and again at sample approval, which is when changes are cheapest to make.
